Ontologies and Knowledge Representation Research Group

Meetings: Tuesday 11:00 am every two weeks in the NLP Research Lab (141). Sessions alternate with those of the discourse representation group.

The group will meet every two weeks to discuss papers in the area of knowledge representation with a focus on ontologies.
Sessions are open to anybody interested.
If you have any suggestions for papers to read/present plese contact Wim.
Topics of interest identified so far:

- Ontology acquisition
- Reasoning/Inferencing
- Existing resources (e.g. Mikrokosmos)
- Ongoing ontology projects (Edinburgh, Toronto, Stanford) with no involvement of language processing.
